General English · A1
Say who a sentence is about and who something belongs to.
I, you, he kabi olmoshlar gap kim haqida ekanini bildiradi. My, your, his kabi egalik sifatlari esa narsa kimga tegishli ekanini ko‘rsatadi va otdan oldin keladi.
A subject pronoun tells us who or what the verb describes: she is here. A possessive adjective goes before a noun: her bag. Choose the possessive word for the owner, not for the object. His can describe a man’s coat or a man’s shoes; it does not change for a plural noun.
On small screens, swipe tables sideways.

| she | her | She is busy. Her phone is off. |
| it | its | It is a bird. Its wings are brown. |
